~Bedding~

My Grandmother always says her bedroom is her "palace." It is the one room, in the one building that at the end of the day is hers, and hers alone. To many of us, our bedrooms are just the place where we store and change our clothing, and sleep. But having a bedroom where care has been taken in creating atmosphere and decoration is a release.

Many studies have been done over the past, finding that the colour(s) of a room can have a direct and dramatic effect on the moods of the people within it. And of course, most everyone has a favourite colour of their own.

A bedroom can be a comfortable, quiet place in which to lounge and read, or catch up on the evening news.. One always feels a sense of refuge in their bedroom, as it is their space, where no one else will enter without their permission. The rest of the world and all of our worries can drift away. Then we are left in our own private locale, where we are surrounded with things we like, and colours that make us feel at home.
